Site Selection Assistance
We provide the tools and real estate information necessary for the franchisee to make an informed decision on the correct location for a new center. Our real estate department will help select a Grease Monkey location by evaluating market conditions and trends, population density, traffic patterns, demographics and proximity to traffic-driving influences, such as primary retail centers.
Lease and Purchase Negotiations
Grease Monkey’s real estate department also offers their expertise and guidance in researching property acquisition options and then assists in negotiating the terms for a lease or purchase of the site where the center will be located. We can also recommend qualified real estate brokers to assist with the intricacies of commercial real estate transactions.
Third-Party Financing
Franchisees work with our development department to identify the financing options available. We then place you in contact with our financing resources, which have a significant understanding of the Grease Monkey Franchise Program to fund the acquisition and construction of a new center.
Center Design and Construction
Whether converting an existing structure or constructing a new building, all facilities are required to meet Grease Monkey International, Inc. standards. We supply prototypical drawings that a franchise owner can take to their architect for adjustment to specific site requirements and compliance with local building codes. We can also assist in locating local contractors, analyzing competitive bids and reviewing plans during all phases of the design and construction process.
Technical Training
Prior to opening, the franchisee and center employees receive intensive, hands-on training on how to thoroughly perform all of the proven and effective Grease Monkey services using the Grease Monkey System of Operation. Ongoing support which includes visits from our field representatives, technical training and operations manuals, as well as the employee certification program, help assure that all Grease Monkey centers are staffed and managed to deliver the highest quality service for our customers.
Marketing and Advertising
Grease Monkey has developed a wide range of marketing programs and materials designed to be easily implemented and highly effective in helping franchisees strategically promote their center. Franchisees also have access to a field marketing specialist that can assist with local marketing planning and consultation.
Business Management and Accounting
Grease Monkey centers have access to a computerized point-of-sale system that serves not only as the center’s cash register, but as a valuable management tool that enables franchise owners to monitor and improve daily operations. This system can track sales data, product inventory and labor earnings-to-revenue ratio. Its powerful database not only provides customer vehicle maintenance records, but also tracks marketing activities and their effectiveness.
